Day 1 (2nd of June) - Welcome to Seoul. Touchdown in South Korea! You’ll be met at Incheon International Airport by a local English-speaking guide who’ll transfer you into the heart of Seoul. The day is yours to relax, unpack, and soak in the city. In the evening, explore nearby spots and we will meet as a group for dinner. Overnight in hotel in Seoul

Day 2 (3rd of June) - Seoul Full Day City Tour by Public Transportation. We will kick off with breakfast at our hotel, then we will meet our guide. First stop: Gwanghwamun Square, where you’ll see the iconic statues of King Sejong and Admiral Yi Sun-Sin, both key figures in Korea’s history. Next, we'll head over to Gwanghwamun Gate, the grand entrance to Gyeongbokgung Palace, and catch the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. Dive into the beauty of Gyeongbokgung Palace and its gardens, and The National Folk Museum. Stroll over to Insadong to check out traditional crafts, cozy tea houses, and cool art galleries. We will then grab a delicious local Korean lunch before visiting Jogyesa Temple, a peaceful Buddhist spot perfect for a little relaxation. We will then wrap up the day at Bukchon Hanok Village, where you can wander through charming traditional Korean houses and get a feel for Seoul’s rich history and culture. In the evening we have free time to explore or unwind at our hotel. Overnight in hotel in Seoul.

Day 3 (4th of June) - Seoul - DMZ Visit. This morning our private guide will collect us at the hotel and head to the DMZ, it is a 1-hour drive (Korean Demilitarized Zone). We'll hop into a private vehicle to get to the DMZ checkpoint, where we'll switch to a shared SIC bus for a 4-hour tour inside the DMZ. Don't forget your passport! We'll check out spots like Freedom Bridge, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, Imjingak Park, the DMZ Museum, and the Dora Observatory. After that, we'll head back to Seoul in a private vehicle. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy. Overnight in hotel in Seoul. Meal plan: (Breakfast)



Day 4 (5th of June) - Seoul to Gyeongju. After breakfast, we will check out and meet our tour guide in the hotel lobby. Transfer to the train station and board a KTX train to Gyeongju. Upon arrival, a private bus will take us to Gyeongju city centre and we will begin our city tour at Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple, showcasing the architectural mastery of the Silla Kingdom. Explore the Buddhist carvings and structures. Continue to Gyeongju National Museum to view artefacts and treasures of the Silla dynasty. The final stop is Daereungwon Tomb complex (Tumuli Park), featuring over 20 Silla period tombs, including Cheonmachong Tomb. We will then return to our hotel afterward and the rest of the evening is free to explore (*things to do in your free time, walk to Woljeong Bridge and Wolji Pond) Distance: Seoul to Gyeongju by KTX is about 276 km, approximately 2hours & 30 minutes. Overnight in Gyeongju.

Day 5 (6th of June) - Gyeongju - Namsan Mountain - Yangdong. Start our day with breakfast at the hotel. We will head for a half-day hike at Namsan Mountain, featuring over 100 temples, 80 stone Buddha statues, and 60 stone pagodas along a 3-hour trail. Take breaks to appreciate the cultural relics and views, followed then by lunch at a local restaurant with regional specialties. In the afternoon, we will then travel by bus along the Hyeongsan River to explore Yangdong Folk Village, a traditional Joseon dynasty yangban village. The village has over 160 traditional Korean houses and other Joseon-era architecture. Visit a shrine, a Confucian school, and the noble residence of the village head. Stroll along the village trail to admire historical homes and the peaceful atmosphere. Return to our hotel and enjoy the evening at our leisure.Note: Hiking is optional. Overnight in Gyeongju. Day 6 (7th of Junel) - Gyeongju to Busan. After breakfast at the hotel, we will meet our guide and transfer to Busan, a 1.5-hour drive in a private bus. Busan, South Korea’s second-largest city, combines modernity and tradition with beaches, markets, and temples. We will start our introduction to Busan with a visit to the Modern History Museum, which provides a sobering yet insightful overview of the city’s turbulent past. After we will visit Gukje Market, Busan’s largest and most historically significant marketplace, which served as a major hub for refugees during and after the Korean War. Enjoy a hearty bowl of gukbap, a traditional rice soup and one of Busan’s signature local dishes. Then after our lunch, we will continue on foot to BIFF Street, a lively district named after the Busan International Film Festival, known for its celebrity handprints, bustling food stalls, and independent shops. Then, make a brief visit to Jagalchi Market, the country’s largest seafood market, offering a fascinating look at Busan’s maritime traditions and daily coastal life. In the afternoon, visit Gamcheon Culture Village, a hillside community originally formed by war refugees. Thanks to the Village Art Project, the area has been revitalized and transformed into a vibrant neighborhood adorned with colorful homes, art installations, boutique shops, and galleries. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its picturesque alleys. Transfer to Haeundae Beach and the final visit of the day will be X the Sky, an observation deck located in Haeundae’s tallest skyscraper. From this vantage point, enjoy panoramic views of the city and the coastline. We will then return to our hotel to relax for the evening. Overnight in Busan. Meal plan: (Breakfast & Lunch)

Day 7 (8th of June) - Busan. After our breakfast at the hotel, we will head to our cooking class and learn how to make one of Korea’s most popular dishes, bibimbap, during our class and demonstration. Once ready, sit down to enjoy the freshly prepared bibimbap for lunch. After eating, we will collect the recipe to take home and continue to Beomeosa Temple, one of Busan’s most important Buddhist sites, nestled on the slopes of Geumjeongsan Mountain. We will explore the peaceful temple grounds, admire intricate architecture, and soak in the serene atmosphere that has drawn visitors for centuries. Afterwards, we will transfer to Ahopsan Bamboo Forest, a tranquil grove filled with towering bamboo that has been carefully preserved for over 400 years. Enjoy a leisurely walk along shaded trails, surrounded by rustling bamboo and soft mountain breezes. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel and enjoy the evening to chill out. Day 8 (9th of June) - Busan - KTX To Seoul - City Tour - Street food

After our breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to KTX station for the return journey to Seoul. Upon arrival in Seoul, we will drop off our bags at the hotel and visit Naksan Park and a walk along the Hanyangdoseong, also known as the Seoul City Wall. Built over 600 years ago, this impressive defensive structure remains one of Korea’s most significant historical landmarks. Stroll along the wall while taking in the scenic views of the surrounding cityscape. Then, transfer to Gwangjang Market, a bustling destination known for its vibrant atmosphere, traditional textiles, and delicious local dishes like bindaetteok and mayak gimbap. It’s time to taste a variety of Korean traditional street food tour. We'll then transfer back to our hotel and enjoy our last evening together. Overnight in Seoul. Meal plan (Breakfast)



Day 9 (10th of June) - Depart Seoul or choose to stay a few more days.

Today it's time to say goodbye to everyone as we end the tour. Pick up time: 4.5 hours ahead of flight departure. After checkout, our driver will pick us up from your hotel and transfer us to Incheon airport for our onward journey.. unless you decide to extend Meal plan: (Breakfast)

Please note the tour starts in Seoul and ends in Seoul. Also note with regards to Luggage, a small suitcase or backpack is recommended as we will need to carry our luggage up some stairs at times!

Fine print:

The itinerary may be subject to small changes due to any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. Brenda will be leading this tour. All rooms on our trips are shared, with two people per room. We’ll match you with an adventure buddy, giving you the perfect chance to make new friends! To keep things fresh, you’ll switch roommates every couple of nights and connect with someone new. This trip requires a minimum number of guests to proceed, and this minimum must be met at least 3 months before departure to be guaranteed. If the minimum number of guests is not met by then, a full refund will be issued.


Terms and conditions:

If you are happy with the itinerary and want to go ahead. A deposit of €500 will be required to secure your booking within upon confirmation of spot. This deposit is non-refundable.


The balance of €2050 will be due 10 weeks before trip start date (24th of March 2026). You can make the payments in instalments after the deposit is paid if that suits you.


With regards to a refund: Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is required to book all accommodation and transportation which are non-refundable or changeable. For the balance of your payment, I maybe able to refund this up 10 weeks before the trip should you have an emergency and need to cancel. Anything closer than 10 weeks, and I cannot refund you.


I suggest you take out comprehensive travel-insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should you have to cancel you are covered, you will get a full pay out from your insurance company. Keep an eye on the excess required.
