Day 1 March 20th 2027, Delhi Touchdown in Delhi! Welcome to India. Upon arrival in Delhi, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to our hotel for check in. After a long journey, take some time to relax, freshen up and settle in before our adventure begins. The remainder of the day is free to rest or explore a little at your own pace. This evening we'll come together for our welcome dinner and get to know the group before setting off on our journey through India. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 March 21st 2027 - Delhi to Jaipur. After breakfast, we leave Delhi behind and begin our journey to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and one of India's most colourful cities. Known as the "Pink City", Jaipur is famous for its grand palaces, bustling markets and fascinating royal history. Surrounded by hills and historic forts, it offers a glimpse into a very different side of India. Upon arrival we'll check into our hotel before heading out to explore the local markets. Jaipur is a fantastic place for shopping, whether you're looking for textiles, jewellery, souvenirs or simply want to soak up the atmosphere. We will meet for dinner in the evening. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 3 March 22nd 2027 - Jaipur - Holi Festival. Today we celebrate Holi, India's most famous and colourful festival. Held every year in March, Holi marks the arrival of spring and is celebrated across the country with music, dancing, food and colour. People from all walks of life come together to throw coloured powder, dance to music and enjoy the festivities. The experience includes herbal colours, water guns, music, drinks and a festive lunch. Be prepared to get completely covered in colour and take part in one of the most memorable experiences India has to offer. The remainder of the day is at leisure and we will meet for dinner in the evening. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 4 March 23rd 2027 - Jaipur. Begin the day with breakfast before setting off to explore the highlights of Jaipur. Our sightseeing tour includes the iconic Hawa Mahal, one of Jaipur's most photographed landmarks. Built in 1799, the palace is famous for its beautiful pink façade and hundreds of small windows which allowed royal women to observe life in the city below. We'll then visit the City Palace, home to an impressive collection of artwork, royal artefacts and historic weapons before exploring Jantar Mantar, a fascinating observatory built to study the stars and planets. Later we'll head to Amber Fort, one of Rajasthan's most spectacular forts. Perched on a hillside overlooking a lake, the fort is a stunning example of Rajput architecture and offers incredible views over the surrounding countryside. In the evening we will meet for dinner in the evening. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 5 March 24th 2027 - Jaipur to Agra. After breakfast, we continue our journey towards Agra. Along the way we'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of Emperor Akbar. Built in the 16th century, the city was abandoned after only a short time due to water shortages, yet much of it remains beautifully preserved today. One of the highlights here is the impressive Buland Darwaza, a massive gateway built to celebrate Akbar's victory in Gujarat. We then continue to Agra, home to one of the most famous monuments in the world. In the evening we will meet for dinner in the evening. Overnight in Agra.

Day 6 March 25th 2027 - Agra. Today is all about one of the most famous landmarks in the world, the Taj Mahal. We'll begin the day exploring Agra Fort, a huge red sandstone fortress overlooking the Yamuna River. Built by Emperor Akbar, the fort served as the residence of the Mughal rulers for generations. We'll also visit Itimad-ud-Daulah, often referred to as the "Baby Taj" because of its striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal, as well as Sikandra, the final resting place of Emperor Akbar. Later this evening we'll visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunset. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, it remains one of the most beautiful and recognisable buildings ever created. After we will return to the hotel for dinner together. Overnight in Agra.

Day 7 March 26th 2027 - Agra to Varanasi
This morning we board the Vande Bharat train and travel to Varanasi, one of the oldest living cities in the world and the spiritual heart of India. Upon arrival we'll transfer to our hotel before heading to the banks of the River Ganges to witness the famous evening Aarti ceremony. As priests perform rituals with fire, music and prayer along the riverfront, you'll experience one of India's most powerful and unforgettable cultural traditions. In the evening we will meet for dinner in the evening. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 8 March 27th 2027 - Varanasi. The day begins early with a sunrise boat ride along the sacred River Ganges. As the sun rises over the city, thousands of pilgrims gather along the ghats to pray, bathe and begin their day. Watching life unfold along the river is one of the most fascinating experiences in India. After breakfast we'll visit some of Varanasi's most important religious sites, including the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the holiest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. We'll also visit Durga Temple, often referred to as the Monkey Temple due to the large number of monkeys that call the temple grounds home. Later this evening we'll explore the local markets before returning to our hotel for dinner.

Day 9 March 28th 2027 - Varanasi to Delhi. This morning we return to Delhi by train. Upon arrival we'll transfer to our hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening after the journey. Take the opportunity to rest, enjoy the hotel or head out and explore a little more of India's capital city. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 10 March 29th 2027 - Delhi. Today we'll explore both Old and New Delhi. We'll visit Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques, before taking a rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk. This vibrant market area is packed with shops, food stalls and endless activity. We'll also stop at India Gate, visit the beautiful Humayun's Tomb and see Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of Delhi's most important Sikh temples. This evening we'll enjoy a special farewell dinner at a beautifully restored mansion hidden amongst the narrow streets of Old Delhi. We'll watch the sun set over the city before sitting down to enjoy an unforgettable Indian dining experience. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 11 March 30th 2027 - Departure Day. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to India and your fellow travellers. Airport transfers will be provided for your onward flight home. Or perhaps it's time to extend your trip and explore a little more of India...

NOT included: International flights, visa for entry to India, compulsory travel insurance, meals not listed in the itinerary or tips. Gratuities are not included. I suggest $3 to $5 per person per day for the tour guide, $2 to $4 per day for the driver and around $1 for hotel bellboys as a thank you for their services.

The Itinerary may be subject to small changes due to any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. A JATT tour leader will be leading this trip! All rooms on our trips are shared, with two people per room. We’ll match you with an adventure buddy, giving you the perfect chance to make new friends! To keep things fresh, you’ll switch roommates every couple of nights and connect with someone new or you can choose to stay together.
If you are happy with the itinerary and want to go ahead. A deposit of €500 will be required to secure your booking within upon confirmation of spot. This deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is non-refundable due to several important factors. When you book a place on the tour, I immediately begin the process of planning and preparing for your journey. These preparations often involve upfront costs that are incurred from the moment your booking is confirmed. In addition, by requiring a non-refundable deposit, I aim to ensure that all participants are committed to the trip.
The balance will be due 10 weeks before trip start date (9th of Jan 2027). You can make the payments in instalments after the deposit is paid if that suits you. With regards to a refund: Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is required to book all tickets, accomm etc. For the balance of your payment €1875, I may be able to refund this up 10 weeks before the trip should you have an emergency and need to cancel. Anything closer then 10 weeks, and I cannot refund you.
It is mandatory you take out comprehensive travel-insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should you have to cancel you are covered, you will get a full pay out from your insurance company. Keep an eye on the excess required.

By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions above. This forms a legally binding agreement between you (“the Traveller”) and the tour operator. Your deposit secures your place on the trip and is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
Once paid, you are committed to the booking and agree to pay the remaining balance by the specified due date (typically 10 weeks before departure). Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of all payments made.
Cancellations
If you cancel your trip, the following applies:
Deposit: Non-refundable
More than 10 weeks before departure: Loss of deposit only
Less than 10 weeks: 100% non-refundable
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Important Information
Travel insurance is mandatory and must cover cancellation and medical expenses.
You are responsible for valid passports, visas, and entry requirements.
No refunds for missed flights, late arrivals, or unused services.
We may make reasonable changes to the itinerary if necessary.
If a trip is cancelled by us, a full refund will be issued (excluding personal expenses such as flights).
By completing the deposit payment, you enter into a binding agreement and accept all Terms & Conditions, including non-refundable deposit and cancellation terms.
