Kenya Itinerary September 20th to 29th 2026: Bush, Beach and All Inclusive Baby

Day 1 20th September - Arrive in Nairobi international airport and be transferred to the Best Western Hotel for overnight stay to recuperate after your long flights and prepare for the adventure ahead..

Day 2 21st September – This morning after breakfast at about 9am we will be transferred to visit both the Giraffe Centre and the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi, optional extra, (which i highly recommend) we will also visit a restaurant with a twist... Overnight in Best Western Hotel (Optional extra - Fogo Gaucho, approx. €25 plus drinks ) Meal plan: (Breakfast)

Day 3 22nd September - Depart Nairobi early this morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley then onto the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Then we proceed to Masai Mara, arriving in the afternoon to check in, lunch and continue on for your afternoon game drive. Return for dinner and overnight stay at our Mara Camp for the ultra glamping experience. Approx. transit time to the Mara: 6 hrs.

Day 4 23rd September - Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant. Game drives include going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park. All meals and overnight at the Mara Camp. (Optional extra Sunrise Hot Air Balloon (€450))

Day 5 24th September - This morning is a little more relaxed. After breakfast, upon check out we will visit a local Masai village and get a tour of their homes and way of life, then we drive back to Nairobi arriving approx. at 18:00hrs. Drop off at Best Western Hotel for overnight stay. Approx. transit time: 6 hrs.

Day 6 25th September – After breakfast and check out, we will be transferred to Nairobi airport for our flight to Mombasa. Upon arriving in Mombasa, we will be transferred to an All-inclusive Resort in Diani Beach for some much needed relaxation time. Approx transit time to hotel approx 2hrs

Day 7 26th September - Day of leisure. You can chill by the pool bar or lounge by the beach. Its entirely up to you, all meals, snacks and local drinks are covered (beer, wine, soft drinks and cocktails) so leave your wallet in the room and take in all that the resort has to offer.

Day 8 27th September – Same as previous day (all meals, snacks and local drinks are covered except for optional extra) Optional extra for anyone who wants to go dinner in Ali Barbour‘s Cave Restaurant. Dinner is at your own cost and not included in the days meal plan. Approx cost for 3 courses with drinks €65 highly recommend it, its such a fab experience.

Day 9 28th September – After breakfast we will check out of our hotel and head back to Mombasa airport for our flight back to Nairobi. Transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Best Western Hotel

Day 10 29th September – Today we end the tour and you will be dropped to the airport in time for your flight home. Airport transfer included.

Included: All airport transfers, all transport through out the trip, all accommodation, Nairobi B&B, the Mara glamping experience on a full board basis and Diani on an all inclusive basis including alcohol drinks, evening safari, full day safari, Jeeps from Nairobi to Mara, 2 internal flights to and from Mombasa, the newly increased park entry fees, (the government haven't been nice) the Sheldrick wildlife centre and the giraffe centre.

NOT included: International flights, Hot air balloon ride €450, travel insurance, meals not listed in the itinerary, any required PCR tests or tips (approx 8000ksh)

The Itinerary may be subject to small changes due to any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. A JATT tour leader will be leading this trip! All rooms on our trips are shared, with two people per room. We’ll match you with an adventure buddy, giving you the perfect chance to make new friends! To keep things fresh, you’ll switch roommates every couple of nights and connect with someone new or you can choose to stay together.

If you are happy with the itinerary and want to go ahead. A deposit of €500 will be required to secure your booking within upon confirmation of spot. This deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is non-refundable due to several important factors. When you book a place on the tour, I immediately begin the process of planning and preparing for your journey. These preparations often involve upfront costs that are incurred from the moment your booking is confirmed. In addition, by requiring a non-refundable deposit, I aim to ensure that all participants are committed to the trip. 

The balance will be due 10 weeks before trip start date (12th of July 2026). You can make the payments in instalments after the deposit is paid if that suits you. With regards to a refund: Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is required to book flights which are non-refundable or changeable and also the safari company requires it to book the park permits, the camp etc. For the balance of your payment €2175, I may be able to refund this up 10 weeks before the trip should you have an emergency and need to cancel. Anything closer then 10 weeks, and I cannot refund you.

It is mandatory you take out comprehensive travel-insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should you have to cancel you are covered, you will get a full pay out from your insurance company. Keep an eye on the excess required.

*Deposit, Booking & Payment Terms

By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions above. This forms a legally binding agreement between you (“the Traveller”) and the tour operator. Your deposit secures your place on the trip and is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

Once paid, you are committed to the booking and agree to pay the remaining balance by the specified due date (typically 10 weeks before departure). Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of all payments made.

Cancellations

If you cancel your trip, the following applies:

• Deposit: Non-refundable

• More than 10 weeks before departure: Loss of deposit only

• Less than 10 weeks: 100% non-refundable

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Important Information

• Travel insurance is mandatory and must cover cancellation and medical expenses.

• You are responsible for valid passports, visas, and entry requirements.

• No refunds for missed flights, late arrivals, or unused services.

• We may make reasonable changes to the itinerary if necessary.

• If a trip is cancelled by us, a full refund will be issued (excluding personal expenses such as flights).

By completing the deposit payment, you enter into a binding agreement and accept all Terms & Conditions, including non-refundable deposit and cancellation terms.
